Weald Gymnastics Women’s Artistic Team have returned to the club adorned with a dazzling array of individual and team medals, marking an outstanding performance at the highly competitive South East Regional Classic Championships held on the 16th and 17th September in Guildford.
The championship showcased the talent of over 250 gymnasts from 27 clubs based throughout the South East competing on bars, beam, floor, and vault, categorized by age and training hours.
Weald gymnasts Mio Burt and Émilie Hilton clinched top honours in the Zinc 10-hour age category, 2013, with Mio securing gold and Emilie claiming the silver. Their stellar performances paved the way for the team's overall gold victory, with contributions from fellow gymnasts Bibi Dart, Aveline Rush, and Katie Legradi. Marlie De La Mothe continued the Zinc competition medal haul winning the silver in her 2014 age category.

The medals continued to pour in for Weald Gymnastics in the Zinc, Copper, and Bronze level competitions. A further thirteen medals were won for both apparatus and four-piece competitions by the team including Mio Burt, Émilie Hilton, Madeleine Browne, Florence Currie.
Our Womens artistic Bronze team (Pheonix Fenton-Page, Izzy Mouser and Miku Burt) then closed Weald's competition bringing back aanother team gold medal and trophy for the club!
While some members of Weald Gymnastics narrowly missed out on medal positions, their personal performances were truly commendable.
